IIRC you must set a password on a windows account in order to share files or printers. Mainly its how Microsofts sharing works as it expects a password even though you don't have one, and leaving it blank doesn't work either. In my experience setting a password on an account that is admin works more often then not setting one. So you can try setting a password and see if it allows it then.
When you do set a password you can have your machine remember the credentials and it shouldn't bug you about it later on.

Keep it civil and on topic. Who might need help, this is what worked for me:.
Find out the driver folder's name. You can do that in device managerright click on devicepropertiesevents tab. There should be an event that reads something along like this: 'Driver Management concluded the process to install driver DriverName.inf'. Go to C:WindowsSystem32DriverStoreFileRepository and find a folder called ' DriverName.infamd64randomstring'.
Take over that folder. Assign ownership as well as full control to either your account or Administrators. Try installing the driver again. Should work now.
